Supplier Code of Conduct
At SecurTec, we are firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsibility across our entire supply chain. We believe that our suppliers and subcontractors play a crucial role in supporting and promoting these values. To ensure alignment and foster a culture of responsibility, we have established the following Supplier Code of Conduct:
Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards within the jurisdictions in which they operate. This includes but is not limited to laws related to labor, health and safety, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Suppliers are expected to keep abreast of legal requirements and ensure full compliance in all aspects of their operations.
Security Training and Certification:
Suppliers should invest in the training and certification of their employees to ensure they possess the necessary licenses, skills and knowledge to deliver security services legally, effectively and responsibly. They should promote continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest industry best practices.
Confidentiality and Data Protection:
Suppliers must handle and protect all sensitive information, including client data, with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. They should implement robust security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss of confidential information.
Ethical Business Practices:
We hold ourselves and our suppliers to the highest ethical standards. Suppliers are expected to conduct their business affairs with integrity, honesty, and transparency. They must not engage in any form of bribery, corruption, or other unethical and/or illegal practices. All business interactions should be based on fair competition and conducted in a manner that promotes trust and respect among stakeholders.
Labor Standards:
We are committed to promoting and protecting fundamental labor rights. Suppliers must uphold and respect these rights within their own operations and throughout their supply chain. This includes prohibiting the use of child labor and forced labor, ensuring fair wages and reasonable working hours, providing a safe and healthy working environment, and respecting the rights of employees to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
Environmental Responsibility:
We recognize the importance of environmental sustainability and expect our suppliers to share this commitment. Suppliers should strive to minimize their environmental impact by adopting sustainable practices throughout their operations. This includes responsible resource management, waste reduction and recycling efforts, pollution prevention, and compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
Human Rights:
We firmly believe in the protection and promotion of human rights. Suppliers must respect and uphold the principles outlined in internationally recognized frameworks, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This includes treating all individuals with dignity and respect, ensuring non-discrimination in employment practices, and working to eliminate any form of harassment, abuse, or exploitation.
Supply Chain Transparency:
Transparency is a fundamental aspect of responsible supply chain management. Suppliers are expected to maintain transparency within their own supply chains and provide accurate and timely information regarding the origin of their products and materials. They should also strive to understand and mitigate any potential social and environmental impacts associated with their supply chain activities. Furthermore, suppliers are encouraged to work collaboratively with us to promote responsible practices among their own suppliers and subcontractors.
Continuous Improvement:
We believe in the power of continuous improvement and encourage our suppliers to join us on this journey. Suppliers should actively seek ways to enhance their social and environmental performance, measuring and monitoring their progress and reporting on key indicators. By engaging in ongoing dialogue and collaboration, we can identify areas for improvement, share best practices, and collectively contribute to a more responsible and sustainable supply chain.
Non-compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in consequences, including the reassessment of the business relationship. We expect our suppliers to communicate and cascade these expectations to their own suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance throughout the entire supply chain.
By adhering to these comprehensive principles, we can collectively create a responsible and sustainable supply chain that upholds the highest standards of ethical conduct and contributes positively to society and the environment. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our industry and create a better future for all.
